Noble Fields announces publication of her debut book, 'With Pride & Dignity'

DAILY, Calif., Aug. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Noble Fields' personal narrative "'With Pride & Dignity:' The Life and Career of Noble Fields" (published by Archway Publishing) tells her story of being a military veteran who became the first black woman millionaire through real estate investment.

The memoir follows the author's from her birth in 1935 to Jake and Mildred Lusk — hard workers who were, for the most part, uneducated. The family moved California in 1945, and she spent her youth in Fresno. She was inducted into the army on November 22, 1954 — the same date, she later learned, that Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on the city bus in Montgomery, Alabama, to a white man. Following a successful 20-year career in the military, she launched a thriving career in real estate, building a life well lived and a legacy she believes is worth sharing.

Fields hopes that sharing the story of how she "made it" will give younger African American communities someone to relate to.
