The World's Largest "Floral Reef" Debuted Beneath the Inverted Pyramid at the Carrousel du Louvre as Four Days of Film, Science, Art and Music Wrapped in the French Capital
PARIS, Oct. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Random Good served as Presenting Sponsor of the 7th Annual Ocean Days Festival, which moved to Paris this year after a strong run in Bordeaux. The four-day festival, held September 27–30 under the High Patronage of the President of the French Republic, brought film, science, art and music together around one goal: protecting the world's oceans.

Random Good is directing 100% of festival ticket proceeds to its global environmental programs, which fund ocean conservation research, environmental filmmaking and scientific work.
The festival's centerpiece came on Tuesday, September 29, when Random Good unveiled the world's largest Floral Reef at the Carrousel du Louvre (Hall Pyramide Inversée). Built entirely from flowers and plants, the installation recreated the color and complexity of a living coral reef, a reminder of what's at stake as reefs decline worldwide. It also served as the backdrop for an exhibition of wildlife photography by Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen, whose work has long shaped Random Good's approach to conservation.
The evening opened with a private Forum hosted by environmental journalist Hugo Clément, with scientists, explorers and athletes. From 22:00 to 01:00, the doors opened to the public for an electronic music afterparty beneath the Inverted Pyramid featuring Synapson, Upsilone and Lancelot.
"We were thrilled to be part of Ocean Days in Paris," said Randy Gebhardt, founder and CEO of Random Good. "People protect what they love, and film, music and art are how you get them to fall in love with the ocean. Our documentary The Last Dive opened the festival on Sunday, and the Floral Reef night was about bringing people together and showing that caring for the planet isn't only for activists. It belongs to everyone."
The film pillar of Random Good's storytelling mission is anchored by their marquee documentary, The Last Dive. The film arrived in Paris riding a wave of critical acclaim following a groundbreaking, sold-out premiere run in San Diego, where it captivated West Coast audiences and environmental advocates alike. Building on this monumental momentum and its sold-out Paris debut, Random Good will soon announce an extensive U.S. theatrical tour and wide release, bringing the documentary's urgent and breathtaking deep-sea narrative to major theaters across North America later this year.
