An unexpected caregiver's way to self-care, stability and survival

CLEVELAND,  August 10, 2022  /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ellen Teitelman Wohl reveals her honest, emotional, and sometimes funny struggle to keep life whole while her husband's health falls apart, over and over again. "Snap out of it: An Unexpected Caregiver's Way to Self-care, Stability, and Survival" (published by Archway Publishing).

Wohl recounts her pursuit to save her sanity while being her husband's caregiver through his chronic illnesses and medical emergencies. "Snap out of it" reveals a voice filled with hope, humor, anxiety, and victory. Wohl shares creative ideas or "snaps" for self-care and resiliency while in the midst of one medical crisis or another.

"Although caregiving is a selfless act of love, natural stressors and weariness will assault our character no matter how dedicated and loving we are. We are all superheroes with our own superpowers. We can identify those powers and use them to improve our well-being."
